Logistics and Distribution Dock and dispatch verification for 3PL and distribution centres

Vikbot checks every carton and item against the dispatch order or pick list at the dock, before it goes on the truck. DockBot and Dispatch Tracker block wrong, short and excess loads and save a photo and timestamp for every dispatch, so you can prove what left the dock.

Deployment

How it fits into your distribution centre

On-premises and offline

A Vikbot-supplied edge computer runs the AI on site, on your local network. Video and dispatch data stay inside your network.

Works with your WMS or ERP

The dispatch order comes in from your WMS or ERP; verified counts, exceptions and photo proof go back. SAP connects over SAP APIs (OData, BAPI/RFC), with the SAP-side work agreed per project.

Set after a site survey

Every project follows the same steps: site survey, installation, model training on your own items, a parallel run with your current checks, and go-live.

FAQ

Logistics and distribution frequently asked questions

Which Vikbot products are used in logistics and distribution?
Logistics and distribution centres use DockBot and Dispatch Tracker, Vikbot's AI dock and dispatch verification products. Both check every carton or item against the dispatch order or pick list at the dock before it is loaded, block wrong, short and excess loads, and save a photo and timestamp for every dispatch. TVS Supply Chain Solutions uses Vikbot dock and dispatch verification. Vikbot is a brand of Clofus Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, India.
What is the difference between DockBot and Dispatch Tracker?
DockBot is installed over a short conveyor at the dock door: items travel under an AI vision camera on their way to the truck, and a green or red signal allows or blocks each one. Dispatch Tracker is a set of Vikbot AI camera units installed at your existing loading and dispatch points, which watch every item as it is loaded and match it against the dispatch order. Both save photo proof of every dispatch.
How does Vikbot stop wrong, short or excess loads at the dock?
Before loading starts, the system receives the dispatch order, invoice or pick list. As each carton or item passes the camera, it is identified from its label, packaging and appearance and checked for the right product and quantity. A match lets loading go on; a wrong, short or excess item raises an alert and loading stops until it is fixed, before the truck leaves.
What proof does Vikbot keep for each dispatch?
Every dispatch is saved with timestamped photos, item by item. When a customer disputes a shipment, you can show exactly what was loaded and when.
Does Vikbot work with our WMS, ERP or SAP?
Yes. DockBot and Dispatch Tracker take the dispatch order or pick list from your existing ERP or WMS and send back verified counts, exceptions and photo proof. DockBot can also start standalone from a spreadsheet of dispatches. With SAP, Vikbot integrates over SAP APIs (OData, BAPI/RFC), and the SAP-side work is agreed per project and done together by the Vikbot team and your SAP team.
Does Vikbot need the cloud or an internet connection?
No. Vikbot runs on-premises and offline. A Vikbot-supplied edge computer runs the AI on site, on your own local network (LAN), so video and dispatch data stay inside your network.
How long does it take to deploy Vikbot at a distribution centre?
The timeline is set after a site survey of your docks, loading points and network. A deployment then follows the same steps: site survey, installation, model training on your own items, a parallel run alongside your current process, and go-live.
