Line Crossing Detection

Cross Line Detection detects people or objects trespassing in restricted areas. When a network camera detects moving objects in its view, the camera starts tracking each one of them. Once the object crosses an imaginary line in pre-defined direction, incoming, outgoing or either direction, it sends an alarm.

Line Crossing Detection

When a person, vehicle, or other object crosses a virtual line that has been defined, the line crossing detection function detects it, and when the alarm is triggered, specific actions can be taken.

AI Solution

  • Object or person movement over a preset virtual line can be detected using an image processing method. It can be used to spot anyone entering the prohibited area or climbing over the barrier. The security guard can receive an immediate smartphone notification and alarm upon detection.
  • In applications that require entrance/exit control, where knowing who is coming and going is a vital advantage, staff members can be whitelisted.
  • The feature is used to identify persistent vehicles or people in a virtual space after a predetermined amount of time.
  • Automatic perimeter monitoring and secure area protection are provided by security solutions.
  • When objects, cars, and people cross a predetermined virtual line, this function can be used to detect it. The direction of the line crossing can be configured to be either left to right or right to left.
  • Additionally, you can specify the time frame for the alert reaction activities, including auditory warning, full-screen monitoring, etc.
